What To Wear In Santorini, Fira? Today’s Fashion Is A Throwback To Greece!

Ciao Beautiful! Today, I would like to take the opportunity to take you back to July 2014 when I had the absolute pleasure of sightseeing and traveling in Santorini, Greece with my vibrant floral dress.

Santorini is known as one of the most romantic and picturesque places in the world to indulge in (with a sense of chic style).  

Santorini has so much to offer, which I actually wrote about in “what to do in Santorini” sometime last year.  But in this post, I’d like to share with you what to wear in Santorini, Fira, Greece, especially in the summer season.  

What To Wear In Santorini?

Clothing

It was so easy to put together different pieces when visiting Santorini.  Santorini consists of colorful and light pastel buildings that allow you to wear and match any outfit you desire.  In my case, I wanted to wear something floral, colorful, soft, chic, and comfortable.  

I wanted to be stylish to complement all the beautiful pastel buildings especially within the cliff of Fira and Oia.  As mentioned above, Santorini is a picturesque place, so I highly recommend that you pack chic, comfortable, elegant, and stylish outfits to choose from.

Shoes

Forget about high heels if you plan on walking around throughout the day.  Santorini is not really designed for high heels especially by the cliff which is rife with marble stones, uneven concrete, and lots of stairs.  

However, if your hotel is situated by Oia and Central Fira, then it would be easier to walk out with heels if you just plan on having a romantic dinner and a great night dancing at the club. In my case, I wore my foldable ballet flats, and flat sandals most of the time.  I always prefer to be more comfortable and chic while sightseeing and traveling.  Wearing flats is still stylish, and it really depends on what dress you wear them with.

Beauty | Makeup

I don’t usually wear heavy makeup while sightseeing and traveling but of course, I still love makeup! For the most of the trip, I used my Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Eyeshadow Palette and on some days I wore true match foundation by L’oreal (one of my favorites).  I used BH Cosmetic Devotion lipstick to enhance my thin lips.
